Meet the Photographer Behind the Images

Mo Garratt

When I'm not photographing weddings, I'm at home on the Delaware coast, finding inspiration in many of the same things my couples are drawn to—historic architecture, beautifully designed spaces, and quiet waterfront towns.

I'm a firm believer that thoughtful design creates a sense of calm and that beauty rarely needs to announce itself. I've always loved creating spaces that feel collected rather than decorated—where every piece has a purpose and nothing feels forced. It's probably no surprise that those same instincts shape the way I compose a photograph. The way light moves through a room, the balance of a space, the details that quietly work together—those are the things I've always noticed.

I think the most beautiful things are rarely the loudest—they're simply intentional.
Rather than chasing what's trendy, I'm interested in creating photographs with a sense of permanence. Images that feel just as honest and meaningful thirty years from now as they do today.

The Experience Was Every Bit as Beautiful as the Images...

We knew Mo's work was beautiful before we booked her, but what surprised us most was the experience itself. From our very first conversation through the final gallery delivery, every detail felt thoughtful, organized, and effortless.

On the wedding day, she brought such a calming confidence to every part of the celebration. Even when the timeline shifted or unexpected moments came up, she handled everything with grace and never made us feel stressed. Somehow she managed to keep the day moving while allowing us to truly be present.

The photographs are absolutely stunning, but what we'll remember just as much is how easy she made the entire day feel. Looking back, we honestly can't imagine trusting anyone else with those memories.

Intimate celebrations, classic themes, tradition tuxedos, long veils, waterfront ceremonies, stolen glances & hidden smiles.

THINGS I adore:

The  moments worth remembering aren't rehearsed

My Favorite Wedding moments:
  • Seeing your personal details for the first time; unique & sentimental
  • Taking bridal portraits because I love photographing women
  • The  calm that comes during the ceremony
  • Bride & groom portraits, there is nothing like photographing people that are in love
  • Reception dance photos; it's high energy and everyone is elated

We love revisiting our wedding day via our gallery. This includes the frame worthy images, but also the details and the images of our family and friends as they were that day.

She Made Us Feel Like Ourselves...

We were excited about having beautiful wedding photos, but honestly, we were a little nervous about being in front of the camera. Neither of us had much experience posing, and we didn't want our images to feel stiff or overly staged.

From the moment we met Mo, those nerves disappeared. She has such a calm, reassuring presence and gave just enough direction to make everything feel natural. Instead of worrying about what to do, we were able to focus on each other—and somehow she turned those moments into photographs that feel completely authentic.

Looking through our gallery, we don't just see beautiful images. We see ourselves. Every photograph feels genuine, timeless, and full of emotion. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
