I’m Mo, which is short for Monique, and a nickname that I have learned to embrace as an adult.

I live in coastal DE with my husband, three kids, and black lab. I’m a high school English teacher, I’m studying to become a librarian, and I’ve been taking photographs as part of the wedding industry for over ten years.

​

My passions have always involved art and literacy. I have studied film photography, studio art, and taken numerous literature courses. I love words, quotes, stories, and infamous American novels along with their authors.

I am attracted to the emotional element of the human experience, and when words fall short, I default to photographs. Photos tell stories of their own, they fill in the gaps, and portray their own versions of truth. They mirror your experience, create depth, and an intimacy that surpasses verbal expression.

I love working outside with natural light, and my photography focuses on creating elegant, contemporary images that are light and romantic. I combine candid with a fine art quality that looks dreamy.
